We are adding a DevOps Engineer to help us build resilient, always-on infrastructure for a consumer platform that real users depend on every day. Join us and play a hands-on role in shaping the future of accessible, expert-led emotional and spiritual wellbeing.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable, resilient cloud-based infrastructure using an Infrastructure as Code approach.
- Ensuring smooth operation of implemented systems, including preventative measures to minimise the number of unplanned downtimes
- Bring DevOps tools and techniques into the operation of the whole IT Infrastructure, using available tools to enhance service and security of the platform
- Supporting developers by creating and maintaining scalable, resilient cloud-based infrastructure using an IaC approach
- Taking initiative, spotting opportunities and driving positive change within the systems
- Driving CI/CD workflow standards and a DevOps culture across the wider Digital team
- Contribute to platform architecture, design and security
You will need
- Knowledge and implementation of Terraform
- Minimum experience of 3-4 years
- Strong knowledge of GCP (Google Cloud Platform) with IaC using Terraform
- Experience with pipeline configuration and best practice, preferably with GitHub
- Strong scripting skills for *nix systems (e.g. bash)
- Docker skills
- Working knowledge of Git
- Proven ability to code against REST APIs
- Strong knowledge of the software development life cycle, including testing, deployment and release strategies and monitoring solutions
- Excellent communication, documentation and presentation skills
- A good level of proficiency in English
It is a plus if you have experience of
- Kubernetes skills, especially GKE & Helm
- Distributed event store and stream processing solutions such as Apache Kafka
- Databases MySQL and NoSQL
- Windows/Powershell
- Back end programming especially C#
- Supporting scalable products for a large user base
Pay: From ₹1,500,000.00 per year
