About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Android Developer to join our mobile engineering team at Ai Health Highway. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining high-performance Android applications for our AI-powered healthcare platform. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver seamless user experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build advanced Android applications using Java, Kotlin, and XML
- Implement MVVM and Clean Architecture patterns to ensure scalable and testable code
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Optimize app performance, memory usage, and network calls
- Write unit tests and UI tests to ensure robustness
- Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers
- Stay updated with the latest Android technologies and best practices
Must-Have Skills
- Strong proficiency in Java and Kotlin
- Hands-on experience with XML layouts and custom views
- Deep understanding of MVVM Architecture (with LiveData/ViewModel)
- Experience with Clean Architecture (UseCases, Repository pattern, Dependency Injection)
- Familiarity with RxJava or Coroutines for asynchronous programming
- Experience with Room Database, Retrofit, and Glide/Coil
- Knowledge of Git and CI/CD workflows
Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience with Jetpack Compose for modern UI development
- Exposure to Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) or Compose Multiplatform (CMP)
- Knowledge of Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics, FCM)
- Experience with Dagger/Hilt or Koin for DI
- Understanding of healthcare apps or HIPAA/GDPR compliance is a plus
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2–5 years of professional Android development experience
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Pay: ₹12,634.12 - ₹54,021.27 per month
