Role Overview:
This role involves leading Microsoft technology projects with expertise in .NET (MVC, Core, C#, VB.Net) and databases, alongside Angular or React for front-end development. It requires proficiency in deploying applications on IIS and Azure, conducting code reviews, and mentoring junior developers. The position demands strong communication skills, the ability to manage technical risks and enforce coding standards. Candidates should be adaptable, able to multitask, and possess a solid understanding of OO concepts and relational databases.
Key Responsibilities:
Development & Leadership: Over 4 years of experience in leading projects using Microsoft technologies including .NET MVC, .NET Core, C#, VB.Net, and SQL Server with front-end frameworks like Angular or React.
Web API Experience: Proficient in working with Web Services, including REST and SOAP.
Database Design: Strong understanding of complex database concepts with the ability to utilize various database design techniques effectively.
Application Deployment: Experienced in deploying web applications using IIS and Azure, capable of handling build, publish, and deployment processes independently.
Industry Knowledge: Applies significant industry trends and developments to enhance client services.
Mentorship & Code Review: Conducts code reviews and mentors junior developers, ensuring the recognition and resolution of system deficiencies.
Development Lifecycle Ownership: Manages technical risks throughout the project lifecycle and enforces coding standards.
Quality Delivery: Consistently delivers high-quality services, actively participating in peer reviews and ensuring code repository updates.
Relational Database Experience: Demonstrated experience with multiple relational database management systems.
Object-Oriented Concepts: Applies object-oriented programming concepts consistently in client engagements.
Language & Compatibility Understanding: Understands the benefits of various programming languages and resolves browser/client compatibility issues.
Issue Resolution: Effectively resolves and escalates issues, communicating difficult information tactfully.
Communication & Teamwork: Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills, is a flexible team player with a "get-it-done" attitude.
Organizational Skills: Capable of organizing and planning work independently, thriving in rapidly changing environments.
Multi-tasking Ability: Efficiently multi-tasks and context-switches between different activities and teams
