Job Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Social Studies Teacher to teach students of Primary (Classes 1–5) and Secondary (Classes 8–10). The ideal candidate should be able to effectively teach subjects such as History, Geography, Civics, and basic Social Studies, using engaging and interactive teaching methods that help students understand society, culture, and the world around them.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver Social Studies lessons according to the curriculum for Classes 1–5 and 8–10.
- Teach subjects including History, Geography, Civics, and Environmental Studies.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, worksheets, and presentations.
- Conduct classroom discussions, activities, and project-based learning to improve student understanding.
- Assess students through tests, assignments, projects, and examinations.
- Maintain student records, attendance, and academic progress reports.
- Encourage students to develop critical thinking and awareness of social, cultural, and historical topics.
- Ensure effective classroom management and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Participate in staff meetings, training programs, and school academic planning.
- Communicate with parents regarding student performance and progress.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Social Studies / History / Geography / Political Science or related field.
- B.Ed preferred.
Required Skills
- Strong subject knowledge in History, Geography, and Civics.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to make social studies topics interesting and relatable for students.
- Good classroom management and organizational skills.
- Basic computer knowledge for lesson planning and presentations.
Experience
- 1–5 years of teaching experience in Social Studies preferred.
- Experience teaching secondary classes (8–10) will be an advantage.
Additional Information
- Candidates who can handle both primary and secondary classes effectively will be preferred.
- Should be enthusiastic, organized, and passionate about teaching.

Pay: ₹13,069.62 - ₹18,500.67 per month
