Position Overview
The Assistant Marketing Manager will be instrumental in building brand awareness, enhancing community visibility, and supporting lead generation for our senior retirement community. This role combines strategic marketing initiatives with creative execution, leveraging digital and traditional channels to reach target audiences—primarily seniors, adult children, and healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, digital marketing acumen, and sensitivity to the unique communication needs of the senior living industry.
Reports to: Marketing & Sales Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns across social media, email, Google Ads, and local online directories to drive brand awareness and lead generation
- Manage the community's social media presence (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube), creating engaging content about resident stories, amenities, events, and wellness initiatives
- Coordinate the creation and distribution of marketing collateral including brochures, newsletters, email campaigns, and website content
- Plan and promote community events, open houses, health seminars, and wellness workshops to attract prospects and strengthen community engagement
- Maintain and optimize the community website, ensuring accurate information, compelling visuals, and strong calls-to-action for prospective residents and families
- Develop strategic partnerships with local healthcare providers, senior centers, community organizations, and referral networks to expand market reach
- Monitor marketing metrics and analytics, providing regular reports on campaign performance, website traffic, lead quality, and ROI
- Research and identify target market segments, including geographic areas, income demographics, and healthcare needs relevant to Kerala's senior population
- Assist with photography, videography, and multimedia production for testimonials, facility tours, and promotional content
- Support the Sales team by providing marketing materials, lead information, and competitive intelligence to facilitate conversions
- Utilize marketing automation tools to nurture long-cycle prospects with personalized, multi-touch campaigns
- Stay current with senior living industry trends, digital marketing innovations, AI-powered marketing tools, and best practices in healthcare marketing
Required Qualifications
- Education & Experience:
- Master’s/Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Digital Media, or related field
- 2-4 years of marketing experience in healthcare, senior living, hospitality, real estate, or B2C consumer marketing
- Strong working knowledge of digital marketing channels and social media platforms
- Experience with content creation, campaign planning & marketing analytics in real-estate industry.
- Proficiency with marketing tools and platforms (Google Analytics, email marketing software, social media management tools)
- Language Requirements:
- Fluent in English (both written and verbal) with excellent writing and editing skills
- Conversational proficiency in Malayalam

- Familiarity with content management systems (WordPress, Webflow, or similar)
- Portfolio of successfully executed marketing campaigns with demonstrated ROI
- Video production or advanced graphic design skills
- Knowledge of Kerala's demographic landscape and regional marketing dynamics
- Experience managing marketing budgets and conducting competitive analysis
- Certification in Digital Marketing, Google Analytics, or Healthcare Marketing
- Understanding of long-cycle B2C sales and nurturing campaigns
- Experience with marketing automation and lead scoring
