Job Title: IT Executive / IT Support Engineer

Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled IT Executive to manage and support the organization's IT infrastructure, hardware, software, network systems, and end-user support requirements. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth functioning of all IT systems, troubleshoot technical issues, maintain security protocols, and provide timely support to employees.
Key ResponsibilitiesIT Infrastructure & Support
- Provide first-level and second-level technical support to employees.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other IT peripherals.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and system-related issues.
- Manage user accounts, email accounts, and access permissions.
- Ensure timely resolution of IT helpdesk tickets.
Network Administration
- Monitor and maintain LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and internet connectivity.
- Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, and network devices.
- Coordinate with internet service providers and vendors for issue resolution.
System Administration
- Install, upgrade, and maintain operating systems and business applications.
- Perform system backups and ensure data recovery processes are in place.
- Monitor server performance and maintain system security.
Cybersecurity & Compliance
- Implement IT security policies and best practices.
- Manage antivirus, endpoint security, and software updates.
- Conduct regular security checks and vulnerability assessments.
- Ensure compliance with organizational IT policies and data protection requirements.
Asset Management
- Maintain inventory of IT hardware, software licenses, and accessories.
- Track asset allocation, warranty status, and renewal schedules.
- Coordinate procurement of IT equipment and software.
Vendor Management
- Liaise with external vendors and service providers for IT services and support.
- Monitor service levels and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain IT documentation, SOPs, network diagrams, and asset records.
- Prepare periodic reports on IT performance, incidents, and infrastructure status.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Applications, or related field.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, CCNA, MCSA, Microsoft Certified Professional, or equivalent will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 2 years of experience in IT support, system administration, or network administration.
- Experience managing Windows environments, networking, and user support.
Technical Skills
- Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Office 365.
- Active Directory and User Management.
- Networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
- Hardware troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Antivirus and endpoint security solutions.
- Backup and recovery procedures.
- Basic knowledge of cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS is preferred.
Soft Skills
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
- Customer-focused approach with attention to detail.
