Job Description
IFDA Institute is looking for a creative and skilled Graphic Designer & Video Editor who can independently handle both graphic designing and video editing for our marketing, social media, branding, events, admissions and promotional activities.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in creating professional graphics as well as engaging video content for digital and social media platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Graphic Designing
- Create social media posts, banners, posters, brochures, flyers and promotional creatives.
- Design content for Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, WhatsApp and other digital platforms.
- Create creatives for courses, admissions, events, workshops and marketing campaigns.
- Maintain consistency in branding, typography, colors and visual layouts.
Video Editing
- Edit Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, promotional videos, event videos and advertisements.
- Handle video cutting, transitions, subtitles, audio editing, effects and basic motion graphics.
- Work with raw footage and create engaging, professional short-form content.
- Add music, text, graphics, animations and visual effects as required.
Required Software Skills
Candidates should have practical working knowledge of:
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Illustrator
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Adobe After Effects
- CorelDRAW
- Canva
- CapCut or similar video editing tools
Knowledge of additional design, animation or video editing software will be an advantage.
Required Skills
- Strong practical knowledge of both Graphic Design and Video Editing.
- Good understanding of typography, color theory, composition and branding.
- Creative mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
- Good communication and time-management skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating both graphic design and video editing work.
Qualification
Graduate / Diploma / Certification in Graphic Design, Multimedia, Animation, Video Editing, Visual Communication, Digital Media or a related field.
Relevant skills, practical experience and portfolio will be given preference.
Important Requirement
This is a dual-role position. Candidates must have practical working knowledge of BOTH Graphic Designing and Video Editing. Candidates skilled in only one area may not be suitable for this position.
