Cloud Engineer – AWS & Terraform
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Cloud Lead with strong expertise in AWS, Azure, Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, Python, IAM/RBAC, and Cloud Operations to lead enterprise-scale cloud transformation and modernization initiatives. The role involves providing technical leadership, defining cloud architecture strategies, driving infrastructure automation, implementing cloud-native solutions, and ensuring operational excellence across large-scale cloud programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead large-scale cloud transformation and modernization programs across multiple teams and workstreams.
- Design and implement scalable, secure, highly available, and cost-optimized cloud architectures on AWS and Azure.
- Provide technical leadership and architectural governance for enterprise cloud initiatives.
- Drive cloud migration, modernization, landing zone, multi-account, and hybrid cloud strategies.
- Implement infrastructure provisioning and automation using Terraform.
- Design, deploy, and manage containerized platforms using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Drive adoption of modern CI/CD practices and cloud-native engineering approaches.
- Develop automation solutions and operational tooling using Python.
- Implement and manage secure access controls utilizing IAM/RBAC principles.
- Support cloud platform operations, monitoring, reliability, and operational excellence initiatives.
- Leverage ARM/Bicep and CloudFormation for cloud infrastructure deployment and governance.
- Promote GitOps practices to standardize deployment, configuration management, and platform operations.
- Ensure cloud solutions follow security, governance, High Availability (HA), and Disaster Recovery (DR) principles.
- Collaborate with architecture, engineering, security, infrastructure, operations, and business stakeholders.
- Support monitoring and observability initiatives to improve platform reliability and operational visibility.
- Manage technical risks, architectural decisions, dependencies, and delivery milestones.
- Provide mentoring and technical guidance to engineering and architecture teams.

- Experience working with cross-functional teams including architecture, engineering, security, infrastructure, and operations.
- Strong understanding of cloud governance, migration strategies, security controls, operational excellence, High Availability (HA), and Disaster Recovery (DR).
