ey Responsibilities
- Scan and Diagnose: Conduct direct ultrasound examinations (e.g., obstetrics, abdominal, pelvic, vascular) and independently interpret the results.
- Verify Findings: Review images and preliminary reports generated by sonographers to ensure accuracy and diagnostic quality.
- Patient Consultation: Explain diagnoses to patients, answer clinical questions, and discuss potential treatment paths.
- Team Collaboration: Work alongside radiologists, attending physicians, and specialists by providing conclusive imaging data required for patient management.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Medical Degree: Must hold an MBBS or equivalent degree.
- Specialized Training: Requires postgraduate qualifications (such as an MD, DNB, or DM in Radiology/Sonology) or specialized fellowships in ultrasound.
- Licensure: Valid medical license to practice medicine and independently prescribe medications or medical certificates.
Pay: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹2,400,000.00 per year
