Providing round-the-clock care to premature and severely ill newborn infants.Taking over from night shift incharge.Taking rounds along with Duty Doctor/Consultants.Assisting the NICU physicians in medical procedures and treatments.Formulating nursing plans and evaluating the effectiveness of treatments.Dispatcing blood samples and collecting Lab reports.Collaborates with nurses and doctors to provide quality patient care.Knowledge on usage of medical equipment, including incubators, feeding tubes, and oxygen hoods.Records all care information concisely, accurately and completely, in a timely manner in all the appropriate formats and on appropriate forms.Allocation of duty rosters to NICU staff. Ensuring that the rosters are uploaded into HR software for attendance leading to payroll processing. Follows neonatology guidelines, regulations, and standards.Adheres to hospital policies and procedures. Should be able to handle medical emergency arising in ICU.
