Job Title: Data Analyst
Job Summary We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to collect, process, and interpret data to support business decision-making. The ideal candidate should be skilled in data analysis, visualization, and reporting, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. Key Responsibilities Collect, clean, and validate data from multiple sources. Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and business opportunities. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using business intelligence tools. Create visualizations to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders. Write SQL queries to extract and manipulate data. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare regular performance reports. Perform ad hoc analysis to support strategic business decisions. Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity. Recommend process improvements based on data-driven findings. Required Skills Strong proficiency in SQL. Experience with Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, PivotTables, Power Query). Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, or Looker. Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis. Understanding of statistics and data modeling concepts. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Information Technology, or a related field. 1–3 years of experience in data analytics or business analytics (entry to mid-level). Experience working with relational databases and ETL processes is preferred. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Familiarity with data warehousing concepts. Experience with predictive analytics or machine learning is a plus. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Accuracy and timeliness of reports.
