Key Roles & Responsibilities for Professor / Associate Professors - Architecture & Design
- Academic Instruction: Deliver lectures, design studios, workshops, and practical sessions in Architecture and Design disciplines.
- Research & Publications: Undertake research activities, publish scholarly work, and pursue funded projects and consultancy assignments.
- Student Mentoring: Guide students in academic projects, thesis work, internships, competitions, and professional development.
- Curriculum & Quality Enhancement: Contribute to curriculum development, accreditation processes, outcome-based education, and academic quality initiatives.
- Institutional Service: Participate in departmental administration, academic committees, industry collaborations, outreach programs, and other institutional development activities.
Associate Professor
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture and Master’s Degree in Architecture / allied field with prescribed academic performance.
- Minimum 8 years of teaching, research, or professional experience, including relevant academic experience.
- Alternatively, substantial professional architectural practice as recognized by the Council of Architecture may be considered.
Professor
- Minimum 10 years of teaching/research/industry experience, with at least 5 years at the level of Associate Professor;
- OR
- Minimum 13 years of professional/academic experience in teaching, research, industry, or architectural practice.
- Professional practice experience certified by the Council of Architecture may also be considered as per applicable norms.
Skills Required – Professor / Associate Professor (Architecture & Design)
- Strong Subject Expertise - in Architecture, Urban Design, Design, Landscape Architecture, Sustainable Design, or related fields.
- Subject Expertise For Design - UI/UX Designers, Communication Design, Product Designers, Digital Modelers, Front-End/UI Developers,Graphic Designers, Information Visualizers, Interface Designers, Set Designers, Interior and Spatial Designers, and Media.
- Teaching and Mentoring Skills with the ability to guide students in design studios, research projects, and professional practice.
- Research and Academic Writing Skills with a proven ability to publish research papers, secure grants, and undertake consultancy projects.
- Proficiency in Design and Digital Tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, BIM platforms, Adobe Creative Suite, and other relevant software.
- Leadership and Communication Skills to manage academic programs, collaborate with industry partners, contribute to accreditation activities, and support institutional growth.
Pay: ₹75,000.00 - ₹125,000.00 per month
