Job Summary
Shri Sai Hospital is seeking a competent and proactive IT Manager to oversee and manage the hospital's complete IT infrastructure, Hospital Information System (HIS), network, cybersecurity, hardware, software, and digital operations. The ideal candidate will ensure uninterrupted IT services, maintain data security, support hospital departments, and implement technology solutions that improve operational efficiency and patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the hospital's IT infrastructure, including servers, desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, biometric devices, and networking equipment.
- Ensure high availability of all IT systems and minimize downtime.
- Plan and implement IT infrastructure upgrades and expansions.
- Administer and maintain the Hospital Information System (HIS) and related healthcare applications.
- Coordinate with software vendors for system updates, troubleshooting, and enhancements.
- Ensure accurate system configuration and uninterrupted operation of OPD, IPD, Billing, Laboratory, Pharmacy, Radiology, and other modules.
- Monitor and maintain LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, internet connectivity, VPN, firewalls, and network security.
- Implement cybersecurity measures to protect hospital data and systems from unauthorized access and cyber threats.
- Ensure secure backup and disaster recovery procedures are in place.
- Provide timely IT support to doctors, nurses, administrative staff, and other hospital departments.
- Resolve hardware, software, email, printer, and network-related issues.
- Maintain an IT helpdesk and ensure prompt resolution of user complaints.
- Schedule and monitor regular data backups.
- Ensure patient records and hospital data remain confidential and secure.
- Implement access control policies and user account management.
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, antivirus software, and licensed applications.
- Maintain inventory of all IT assets and software licenses.
- Coordinate procurement, installation, and maintenance of IT equipment.
- Liaise with software providers, internet service providers, hardware vendors, and AMC partners.
- Evaluate vendor performance and ensure timely service delivery.
- Ensure compliance with hospital IT policies, cybersecurity standards, and applicable regulations.
- Maintain documentation for IT infrastructure, licenses, user manuals, network diagrams, and SOPs.
- Prepare regular reports on IT performance, system availability, and security status.
- Supervise IT support staff and assign daily responsibilities.
- Conduct user training on hospital software and cybersecurity best practices.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and technology adoption.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Applications, or a related field.
- Master's degree or relevant professional certifications (CCNA, MCSE, AWS, Azure, ITIL, Cybersecurity, etc.) will be an added advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in IT administration, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Experience in a hospital or healthcare environment and familiarity with Hospital Information Systems (HIS) is preferred.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of networking, server administration, Windows/Linux operating systems, and database management.
- Experience with HIS, EMR/EHR systems, and healthcare IT workflows.
- Knowledge of cyber security, firewall management, backup solutions, and disaster recovery.
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Strong leadership, communication, and project management abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and respond quickly to critical system issues.
Working Hours
As per hospital policy. The IT Manager should be available to address critical technical issues, emergency system failures, and planned maintenance activities outside regular working hours when required.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
