We are looking for an experienced Finance Functional Consultant who is a finance professional first, with strong domain expertise, industry exposure, and a deep understanding of real-world business challenges. The candidate should be skilled in core finance operations, taxation, statutory compliance, financial reporting, and business process consulting.
They must be able to analyze business requirements, assess financial and operational impacts, and deliver practical, compliant, and scalable solutions. Strong stakeholder management, communication, and client handling skills are essential.
The role requires hands-on experience across diverse industries, with the ability to bridge finance operations and business needs, drive finance transformation initiatives, and provide effective, solution-oriented consulting.
Key Responsibilities

Understand client business operations, finance processes, and reporting requirements.

Conduct business process discovery sessions and requirement gathering workshops.

Analyze existing finance workflows and recommend process improvements.

Provide consulting and advisory support on finance operations, taxation, compliance, and reporting.

Support finance transformation and process optimization initiatives.

Participate in client meetings, workshops, business reviews, and solution discussions.

Handle and advise on Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), Record-to-Report (R2R), Fixed Assets, Inventory Accounting, and Financial Close processes.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex business scenarios.

Contribute to pre-sales discussions by providing finance domain expertise and business insights.

Mentor junior consultants and share industry best practices.

Support user training, testing, business adoption, and post-implementation activities where required.
