Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Senior Resident in General Medicine to join our clinical team. The candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to patients, assisting in diagnosis and treatment, participating in academic activities, and supporting undergraduate/postgraduate teaching as per institutional requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients admitted under General Medicine.
- Conduct daily ward rounds and maintain accurate medical records.
- Attend outpatient and inpatient services as assigned.
- Provide emergency medical care and manage critically ill patients.
- Coordinate with consultants and multidisciplinary teams for patient care.
- Supervise and guide junior residents, interns, and nursing staff.
- Participate in academic sessions, case presentations, CMEs, and departmental meetings.
- Ensure adherence to hospital policies, ethical practices, and quality standards.
- Perform duties assigned by the Head of Department from time to time.
Eligibility Criteria:
- MD/DNB in General Medicine from a recognized institution.
- Registration with the State Medical Council/National Medical Commission (NMC).
- Relevant experience as per NMC norms is preferred.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
