Position Overview
DKT Infra is seeking an experienced and results-driven Crusher Plant Manager to oversee the complete operations of our crushing plant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing production, maintenance, manpower, safety, quality control, and overall plant performance to ensure efficient and uninterrupted operations.
Key Responsibilities Plant Operations
- Manage and supervise day-to-day crusher plant operations.
- Ensure achievement of daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.
- Monitor plant performance and optimize productivity and efficiency.
- Coordinate material feeding, crushing, screening, and stockpile management activities.
Production Management
- Plan and execute production schedules based on project requirements.
- Monitor product quality and ensure compliance with specified standards.
- Minimize material wastage and maximize plant output.
- Prepare and maintain daily production reports.
Maintenance Management
- Oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance of crushers, screens, conveyors, and associated equipment.
- Ensure maximum equipment availability and minimum downtime.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams for timely repairs and troubleshooting.
- Manage spare parts inventory and maintenance records.
Team Leadership
- Supervise operators, mechanics, electricians, and support staff.
- Allocate duties and manage workforce productivity.
- Conduct training and ensure adherence to operational procedures.
- Foster a safe and disciplined working environment.
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure strict compliance with safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and toolbox talks.
- Ensure proper use of PPE and safe work practices.
- Maintain compliance with environmental and regulatory requirements.
Cost & Resource Management
- Monitor fuel, power, and operating costs.
- Implement cost-control measures without compromising productivity.
- Optimize utilization of equipment and manpower resources.
Reporting & Coordination
- Submit daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports to management.
- Coordinate with project, procurement, and logistics teams.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancement.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mining Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5–10 years of experience in crusher plant operations, aggregates, mining, or infrastructure projects.
- Proven experience in managing crushing plants and production teams.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of Jaw Crushers, Cone Crushers, VSI Crushers, Screens, Conveyors, and related equipment.
- Understanding of plant maintenance planning and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of production planning, inventory control, and quality management.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and operational reporting.
