JOB DESCRIPTION: Western Music Teacher for the Residential and Day School with expertise and experience as under:-
1. EXPERTISE:
a) Musical and Technical Proficiency
(i) : Proficiency in core Western instruments like the piano, guitar, keyboard, and drums.
(ii) Vocal and theory knowledge: Expert training in Western vocal techniques, sight-reading, and standardized music theory (such as ABRSM or Trinity standards).
(iii) Genre versatility: Ability to transition smoothly between classical Western pieces, jazz, and contemporary pop styles.
b) Performance and Ensembles
(i) Directing and managing school choirs, orchestras, contemporary bands, and instrumental groups.
(ii) : Organizing and staging major concerts on the campus, annual day productions, investiture ceremonies, and formal assemblies.
(iii) : Preparing individual students and school teams for external inter-school festivals and competitions, IPSC competitions, and others.
c) Boarding School Environment
(i) Engaging with students outside standard academic hours during evening practices, hostel activities, or weekend pastoral duties.
(ii) Supervision of and Upkeep, tuning, and inventory management of a school-owned music instruments and sound equipment.

ELIGIBILITY :
Relevant Qualification in Western Music.
Educational Qualifications for a CBSE Residential Boarding School.
JOB ROLE TYPE :
Contractual for initial 02 (Two) years. Based on performance confirmation.

As per norms, qualification and experience befitting a heritage residential and day school.
