Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Industrial Engineering (IE) Executive to improve productivity, optimize production processes, and support operational excellence in our garment/textile manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of work study, time study, line balancing, and production efficiency improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct time studies and work studies to establish Standard Minute Value (SMV).
- Perform line balancing to achieve optimum production efficiency.
- Analyze production processes and recommend productivity improvements.
- Monitor hourly production, efficiency, and operator performance.
- Identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to improve output.
- Prepare capacity planning and manpower requirement reports.
- Conduct method studies to reduce wastage and improve workflow.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams to achieve production targets.
- Monitor line performance and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain IE reports, dashboards, and daily productivity records.
- Support new style introductions and production planning activities.
- Ensure adherence to company quality and safety standards.
Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Textile Technology, Apparel Technology, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience as an IE Executive in the garment or textile manufacturing industry.
- Freshers with strong academic knowledge in Industrial Engineering may also be considered.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of Time Study, Motion Study, and Work Study.
- Experience in SMV calculation and line balancing.
- Understanding of garment manufacturing processes.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, and Continuous Improvement.
- Experience using IE tools and production reporting systems.
