JOB ROLE/ RESPONSIBILITY
Greet guests: Welcome customers and lead them to their tables.
Present menus: Provide menus and answer questions about ingredients, dishes, and specials.
Take orders: Accurately record and place food and beverage orders with the kitchen and bar.
Make recommendations: Offer suggestions and up-sell products when appropriate.
Address concerns: Handle customer complaints or issues to ensure satisfaction.
Service and delivery
Serve food and drinks: Deliver orders to tables in a timely and professional manner.
Check on guests: Check in with diners to ensure their meal is satisfactory.
Clear tables: Remove dirty dishes, glasses, and silverware from tables.
Process payments: Deliver checks and accurately process cash or credit card payments.
Dining area maintenance
Set up tables: Prepare tables with linens, silverware, and glasses.
Maintain cleanliness: Keep the dining area tidy, and perform other cleaning duties as needed.
Communicate with staff: Coordinate with kitchen and other staff to ensure smooth operations.
