Job Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting, cleaning, analyzing, and interpreting data to support business decision-making. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify trends, develop reports and dashboards, and provide actionable insights that drive business performance.
Your future duties and responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business and data requirements in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Extract, transform, and analyze data using SQL and Python.
- Work with Hadoop ecosystem tools to process and manage large-scale datasets.
- Develop reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to support business decisions.
- Perform data validation, quality checks, and reconciliation to ensure data accuracy.
- Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities through statistical and exploratory data analysis.
- Collaborate with engineering and business teams to improve data processes and reporting.
- Optimize SQL queries and data pipelines for performance and scalability.
- Support ad hoc analysis and provide actionable recommendations based on data findings.
- Maintain documentation for data models, business rules, and analytical processes.
