Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Payroll Specialist with extensive experience in payroll operations and a strong analytical and transformation mindset. This role requires someone who can go beyond transactional payroll and drive insights, automation, and process excellence, particularly in a multi-country payroll environment.
Payroll Operations & Compliance

Manage end-to-end payroll processing, including validation, reconciliation, and reporting

Ensure accuracy of payroll inputs (new hires, exits, variable pay, bonuses, deductions)

Oversee full & final settlements, statutory reporting, and audit readiness
Analytics & Business Insight

Perform payroll variance analysis, identifying trends and anomalies in fixed vs. variable pay

Handle a hybrid payroll environment combining automated systems and manual interventions, ensuring accuracy, validation controls, and proper reconciliation across all components

Partner to support cost analysis, budgeting, and forecasting

Use data to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements
Process Improvement & Automation

Identify opportunities to automate payroll processes and reduce manual dependency

Drive continuous improvement initiatives across payroll operations

Enhance payroll workflows using HRMS / SAP / reporting tools
Stakeholder & Vendor Management

Collaborate with global stakeholders, finance, and HR teams

Act as escalation point for complex payroll queries
Qualifications
-
10+ years of experience in payroll operations (preferably multi-country)

Accounting background or relevant certification (Finance/Payroll specialization) is an added advantage

Strong experience in payroll analysis, reporting, and reconciliation

Exposure to complex compensation structures

Hands-on with payroll systems / HRMS / SAP and Advanced Excel

Proven experience in process optimization / transformation initiatives

Strong understanding of statutory compliance and audits

Strong orientation toward automation and analytics
