Job Role - Senior Accountant
Workings days - Monday to Saturday
Timings - 9 am - 6 pm
As Senior Accountant , you'll oversee all financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and sound financial management to support the institution's goals
Key Responsibilities:
- Core Accounting & Data Entry: Oversee and verify daily purchase and sales entries, ensuring precise ledger posting, cost-center allocation, and inventory tracking within Tally.
- Multi-Branch Data Compilation: Aggregate, reconcile, and compile financial data from all company branches into a unified centralized system, identifying and resolving any cross-branch discrepancies.
- Statutory Compliance (GST & TDS):Compute, prepare, and file monthly/quarterly GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and perform regular GSTR-2B reconciliations with purchase registers. Handle end-to-end TDS deduction, monthly payment updates, and quarterly e-TDS return filings (Form 24Q, 26Q).
- Bank & Ledger Reconciliation: Conduct comprehensive weekly and monthly Bank Reconciliations (Bank Reco) for multiple accounts, alongside vendor and customer ledger rectifications.
- Financial Reporting & Excel Analysis: Utilize advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, IFCONDITIONS) to generate cash flow statements, MIS reports, and aging analyses for management review.
- Audit Support: Assist internal and external auditors during year-end finalization by providing clean schedules, trial balances, and supporting tax documentation.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience: Proven experience in accounting management, preferably in the education sector.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and internal controls.
Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
