Role Summary
We are looking for a result-oriented Manager Purchase to streamline our procurement cycle for STEM kits, laboratory apparatus, and scientific tools. You will be responsible for sourcing high-quality raw materials, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring that our manufacturing units have the stock required to meet global tender deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
· Procurement & Sourcing: Identify and source raw materials (glassware, plasticware, electronic components for STEM kits, etc.) at competitive prices without compromising quality.
· Stock Availability: Ensure timely availability of stock to avoid disruptions in manufacturing and export operations.
· Vendor Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors/suppliers; conduct periodic performance evaluations.
· Cost Analysis: Compare quotations from multiple suppliers and prepare detailed cost analysis reports for management review.
· Quality Compliance: Ensure all purchased items comply with regulatory and ISO standards relevant to scientific and educational equipment.
· Documentation: Maintain accurate records of Purchase Orders (POs), invoices, and inventory levels in coordination with the stores and accounts teams.
· Tender Coordination: Assist in sourcing specific materials required for World Bank, ADB, or government education tenders.
· Market Intelligence: Stay updated on market trends, pricing fluctuations for raw materials (plastics, metals, glass), and international sourcing options.
Qualifications & Skills
· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
· Experience: Proven experience in procurement within a manufacturing setup (Scientific/Engineering/Education sector preferred).
· Technical Skills: Proficient in ERP software, MS Excel, and digital procurement tools.
· Analytical Skills: Strong negotiation skills and the ability to interpret technical specifications of scientific equipment.
· Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for vendor negotiations and internal reporting.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
