Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and motivated PHP Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in PHP, MySQL, and web application development, with a strong understanding of backend programming and API integration.
You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing web applications while working closely with our development and QA teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain web applications using PHP.
- Build and integrate REST APIs and third-party APIs.
- Develop and maintain applications using frameworks such as Laravel or CodeIgniter.
- Work with MySQL databases, including queries, optimization, and database design.
- Identify and fix bugs, performance issues, and application errors.
- Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, designers, and QA teams.
- Use Git/GitHub for source-code management.
- Participate in code reviews and follow development best practices.
- Ensure applications meet performance, security, and quality standards.
Requirements
- 1–5 years of professional experience in PHP development.
- Strong knowledge of Core PHP and OOP concepts.
- Experience with Laravel, CodeIgniter, or similar PHP frameworks.
- Good knowledge of MySQL and relational databases.
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX.
- Experience working with REST APIs and JSON.
- Familiarity with Git/GitHub.
- Good problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with React, Vue.js, or Angular.
- Knowledge of AWS, Docker, or CI/CD.
- Experience with Redis, PHPUnit, or automated testing.
- Understanding of web security and performance optimization.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
