Area Sales Manager – Job Description
SSPVK Vermicompost is looking for an experienced and result-oriented Area Sales Manager to expand our dealer network and increase sales of organic fertilizer and agricultural products in Haryana and nearby regions. The candidate should have experience in fertilizer, pesticides, seeds, nursery products, FMCG, or agriculture sales.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage dealers & distributors network
- Visit retail markets, nurseries, and farmers regularly
- Achieve monthly sales targets and business growth
- Build strong relationships with farmers and agri retailers
- Handle field sales activities and market expansion
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends
- Manage reporting, collections, and daily sales updates
- Lead and support sales team in assigned territory
Requirements
- Experience in agriculture, fertilizer, pesticide, nursery, or FMCG sales
- Good communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to travel for market visits
- Basic knowledge of dealer/distributor management
- Must have bike and valid driving license
- Minimum 1–5 years of sales experience preferred
