Position: Economics Teacher

St. Joan's School is seeking a dedicated and qualified Economics teacher for our Class XI and XII Commerce sections. The ideal candidate should be fluent in English, with a strong academic background in Economics and an ICSE educational experience.
Key Requirements:
- Master’s degree (MSc) in Economics from a recognized university.
- Minimum 2 years of work experience at ISC level
- ICSE background (as a student and/or in teaching experience).
- Proficiency in English with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to teach Economics as well as other commerce subjects as required for Class XI and XII.
- Strong grasp of subject content, with the ability to make learning engaging and applicable.
Preferred Criteria:
- Previous experience in teaching senior secondary classes (XI and XII).
- Experience working in an ICSE-affiliated school.
- Strong organizational skills with a proactive approach to managing classroom and academic activities.
- Commitment to student-centred teaching and the ability to adapt different teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning needs.
- Willingness to contribute to school events, activities, and exhibitions.
- Capacity for motivating students to achieve their personal best and succeed in both academics and extracurricular activities.
