Job Title: ASM, Industrial Engineering
On a typical day you will:
Develop and execute project and process plans.
Technology transfer and Bench Marking
Machine installation, Jigs, Fixture and Line design
Provide solution for technical problem.
Develop new ways to solve problems identified during quality assurance activities.
Line set up, WI, JHA, Time study, MOST MTM, Cycle time, Takt time, Process time etc.
Apply statistical process control methods for analyzing data to evaluate process.
Sort out process related problems.
Guide IE team for layout plan and process Plan in different manufacturing cells.
Team Management
Improvement of manufacturing process, Productivity, EHS & reduction of cost.
Plan and monitor process audits on the shop floor in regular basis.
Introduce/improve manufacturing processes with a view of better quality, reduce costs & improve safety.
Provide training in various IE/Manufacturing fields & in OPXL.
Design & provide material handling & storage equipment’s.
Take care of the company requirement of new machines make detailed report for the management.
Check the quality of the raw materials being used in manufacturing.
Troubleshoot and implement corrective actions on a timely basis.
Assess the manpower that will be required to make the product.
Check for faults in the machinery.
Follow EH&S ruler & regulations of OTIS & implement EH&S programs & activities.
What you will need to be successfull:
- Possess a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical/Industrial/Mechatronics engineering from a reputed institution.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in a large-scale engineering industry .
Good Communication skill.
Ability to understand, implement and apply lean tools and concepts to Company Production Systems Implementation or improvement.
Demonstrated ability to oversee the design, analysis and implementation of industrial engineering methodologies to optimize capability and capacity throughout the value stream.
Experience in managing or leading teams/cross functions teams.
Experience in working with external suppliers.
Good knowledge of computer applications.
