Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and vet all company related contracts and other legal documents.
- Ensure legal compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Coordinate with internal departments for fulfilling legal requirements at their end.
- Assist in developing legal framework, processes, and policies for the company.
- Maintain and manage legal records, contracts, and documentation.
- Liaise with external legal counsel and consultants whenever required.
- Assist in identifying legal risks and provide appropriate recommendations.
- Conduct legal research and stay updated on relevant laws and industry regulations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law (3-year or 5 year integrated LLB) from a recognized university.
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in corporate legal function.
- Strong understanding of contract drafting and legal documentation.
- Knowledge of corporate laws, labor laws, and legal drafting
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Critical thinking with good problem solving ability.
Educational Qualifications
Experience working in IT, technology, or startup environments or within a corporate legal team of a law firm will be an added advantage.
