About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Area Sales Manager to lead sales growth for our Logistics & Industrial Equipment portfolio in the assigned territory. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, managing key customer relationships, achieving sales targets, and expanding market presence across manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, automotive, FMCG, and industrial sectors.
This role requires strong B2B sales expertise, technical understanding of industrial products, and the ability to develop long-term customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Identify and acquire new customers within the assigned territory.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and key accounts.
- Promote and sell logistics and industrial equipment including:
- Material Handling Equipment (MHE)
- Forklifts
- Warehouse Automation Solutions
- Conveyors
- Loading & Unloading Systems
- Stackers
- Pallet Trucks
- Industrial Logistics Equipment
- Conduct customer meetings, technical presentations, product demonstrations, and site visits.
- Prepare commercial proposals, quotations, negotiate pricing, and successfully close sales opportunities.
- Coordinate with service, operations, and technical support teams for seamless project execution.
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing strategies, and market developments.
- Develop territory expansion plans and execute sales strategies.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts, and pipeline reports.
- Participate in trade exhibitions, customer events, and industry conferences.
- Ensure timely collection of payments and maintain healthy receivables.
- Develop and manage dealer, distributor, and channel partner networks where applicable.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or Business Administration.
- MBA in Marketing or Sales will be an added advantage.
Experience Required
- 5–10 years of proven experience in B2B sales.
- Hands-on experience in Industrial Equipment, Material Handling Equipment, Logistics Solutions, Warehouse Automation, or related industries.
- Experience in territory sales, key account management, and business development.

- Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Self-driven with excellent time management and organizational skills.
