Job Description: Area Business Manager
Location- Chennai | Tamil Nadu
Process Contribution
Sales: Network Expansion
1. Develop end-to-end network along with sales extraction. Identify and setup regional/state distributors along with expansion plan based on market potential
2. Ensure and monitor the expansion of SMART stores across the region as per the targets
3. Propose alternative options in case of deviations in the expansion plans
4. Develop the terms of trade and policies across the network
Sales: Sales Planning: Business Plan Formulation
1. Contribute to the development of Retail strategy and ensure its translation and alignment during its development and execution
2. Create and seek approval of all activities effecting the functional P&L like quarterly budgets, annual targets, expansion plan etc. for
3. Analyse past sales figures/trends to anticipate future product; finalise product list with the product team and devise a a plan based on the analysis
Defining Performance Standards and Governance
1.Ensure systems and practices are benchmarked across similar industries and comparable environments
2. Define & periodically evaluate KPIs & performance standards due to fast changing, dynamic and diverse environment
3. Track and provide response for audit observations, recommend systemic solutions to mitigate risks, ensure risks are mitigated by bringing in systemic controls and / or process changes
Work Experience
Education: Graduate / Post- Graduate (MBA)
Exp: 7-9 years with experience in Sales distribution management
