Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, construction, and configuration of software applications. This role requires taking ownership of the development process and serving as the main liaison for project-related communications. The position demands coordinating efforts across various teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of solutions, while continuously monitoring progress and addressing challenges that arise during the application lifecycle.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Oversee the implementation of best practices and ensure adherence to project timelines.
- Mentor junior team members to foster skill development and knowledge sharing.
- Facilitate effective communication between stakeholders to align project goals and expectations.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
- Strong experience in developing and optimizing custom applications within the SAP HANA environment.
- Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Familiarity with performance tuning and debugging techniques specific to SAP ABAP on HANA.
- Experience in integrating SAP modules and working with various data models and interfaces.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 8 years of experience in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
- This position is based at our HDC4 - SEZ location.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
