Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Executive to identify new business opportunities, build strong client relationships, and contribute to the growth of our pharmaceutical business. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, excellent communication skills and the ability to achieve sales and business development targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in domestic and international pharmaceutical markets.
- Generate leads and establish relationships with distributors, wholesalers, healthcare organizations, and business partners.
- Promote the company's pharmaceutical products and services to prospective clients.
- Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and potential growth opportunities.
- Prepare and deliver business proposals, quotations, and presentations.
- Negotiate commercial terms and finalize agreements with clients.
- Coordinate with regulatory, production, quality assurance, and logistics teams to ensure smooth order execution.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and business development progress.
- Participate in industry exhibitions, conferences, and networking events to expand the company's market presence.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual business development and revenue targets.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm), Life Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA in Marketing is an added advantage.
- 1–5 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, business development, or marketing.
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical products, contract manufacturing, PCD, third-party manufacturing, or export business (as applicable).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and business development activities.
