About the Role
- Geek Web Solution is looking for a passionate and self-driven Shopify App Developer with 2 to 3 years of experience in Shopify app development. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience building and maintaining Shopify Public and Custom Apps, a solid understanding of the Shopify ecosystem and the ability to independently manage app development, maintenance and feature enhancements.
- We're looking for someone who takes ownership of their work, is proactive in solving problems and can work independently while collaborating effectively with the team when needed.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance Shopify Public and Custom Apps.
- Work extensively with Shopify Admin APIs, GraphQL, REST APIs, Webhooks, OAuth, and the Billing API.
- Develop embedded Shopify apps using Shopify App Bridge and Polaris.
- Manage the complete app lifecycle, including installation, authentication, billing, updates, and ongoing maintenance.
- Monitor application performance, identify issues, and ensure app stability and reliability.
- Debug and resolve production issues efficiently.
- Integrate third-party services and APIs as required.
- Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following Shopify best practices.
- Ensure applications comply with Shopify App Store guidelines and requirements.
- Stay up to date with the latest Shopify platform updates, APIs, and app development best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in Shopify App Development with strong knowledge.
