A Pay-Per-Click (PPC) Executive manages and optimizes paid advertising campaigns (e.g., Google Ads, Bing, and social media) to drive targeted traffic, generate leads, and maximize return on ad spend (ROAS). This role blends data analytics, ad copywriting, and budget management.
Core Responsibilities
- Campaign Management: Build, launch, and optimize paid search, display, video, and social media campaigns.
- Keyword & Audience Research: Identify high-value keywords, build keyword lists, and establish negative keyword strategies.
- Ad Copywriting & Testing: Write compelling, click-worthy ad copy and execute A/B testing on headlines, calls to action (CTAs), and landing pages.
- Budget & Bid Management: Monitor campaign pacing, adjust bids, and ensure daily/monthly budgets are utilized efficiently.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor key metrics (e.g., CTR, CPC, CPA, ROAS, and conversion rate).
- Reporting: Generate and present regular performance reports, providing actionable insights for continuous improvement. [1, 2, 3, 4]
Key Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field.
- Experience: 1–3 years of hands-on experience managing PPC campaigns, ideally within an agency or fast-paced in-house team.
- Platform Fluency: In-depth knowledge of Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, and social platforms (Facebook/Meta, LinkedIn).
- Analytics Tools: Proficiency with Google Analytics and tag management systems.
- Certifications: Active Google Ads Certification and Google Analytics Certification are highly preferred.
- Analytical Skills: Strong Excel/Google Sheets capabilities for data manipulation and pivot table.
