Job Summary:
A Food Delivery Executive is responsible for delivering food orders from restaurants or cloud kitchens to customers in a timely and safe manner while ensuring quality, hygiene, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pick up food orders from restaurants/cloud kitchen on time
- Deliver orders to customers quickly while maintaining food quality and temperature
- Verify order details before pickup and delivery
- Handle food packages carefully to avoid spillage or damage
- Collect cash payments (if applicable) and update delivery status in the app/system
- Provide professional and courteous service to customers
- Follow delivery routes efficiently using maps/navigation apps
- Maintain communication with the operations team for any delays or issues
- Adhere to hygiene and safety standards at all times
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum 10th / 12th pass
- Valid driving license (bike/scooter)
- Good knowledge of local areas and routes
- Basic smartphone handling skills (apps, GPS)
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work under time pressure
Experience:
- Fresher or 0–2 years of experience in food delivery/logistics preferred
Working Conditions:
- Field job with continuous travel
- Flexible shifts (morning, afternoon, night)
- Weekend and holiday availability required
Additional Requirements:
- Own two-wheeler with valid RC and insurance
- Smartphone with internet access
- Fuel and maintenance responsibility (as per company policy)
