A tissue machine operator is responsible for operating and monitoring machines that manufacture tissue paper products such as toilet paper, facial tissues, paper towels, and napkins.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor the tissue paper production machine.
- Set machine parameters (speed, pressure, temperature, moisture, etc.).
- Ensure product quality meets specifications.
- Perform routine inspections and troubleshoot machine issues.
- Replace rolls, reels, and other consumables as needed.
- Record production data and prepare shift reports.
- Conduct basic preventive maintenance and cleaning.
- Follow health, safety, and environmental procedures.
- Coordinate with maintenance and quality control teams.
Required Skills
- Experience operating tissue paper or paper mill machinery.
- Understanding of machine controls and production processes.
- Ability to identify and resolve minor mechanical problems.
- Knowledge of quality standards and safety procedures.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or technical/vocational qualification.
- 2–5 years of experience in tissue paper manufacturing (preferred).
- Experience with tissue machines such as Crescent Former, Yankee Dryer, or similar equipment is an advantage.
Typical Salary (UAE)
Depending on experience and company:
- AED 8000–10000 per month for operators.
- Senior operators with extensive experience may earn more, along with overtime and benefits.
Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹10,000.00 per month
