About the Role
Ebenezer Group of Institutions is seeking a creative and enthusiastic Graphic Designer with strong photo and video editing skills. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing marketing materials, creating engaging digital content, and capturing memorable moments from institutional events through photography and videography.
Key Responsibilities
- Design posters, brochures, banners, flyers, certificates, invitations, standees, and other promotional materials.
- Create engaging social media posts, advertisements, and digital marketing creatives.
- Capture high-quality photographs and videos during all institutional events, academic programs, workshops, seminars, cultural activities, graduation ceremonies, sports events, and celebrations.
- Plan and coordinate photo and video coverage to ensure important moments are documented.
- Edit photographs for print and digital use, including retouching, color correction, and enhancement.
- Edit promotional videos, event highlight videos, reels, testimonials, interviews, and social media content.
- Create basic motion graphics and animations to enhance digital content.
- Work closely with the Admissions, Marketing, HR, and Academic Departments to develop creative communication materials.
- Maintain brand consistency across all visual communication.
- Organize and maintain the institution's digital media library, including photographs, videos, and design assets.
- Ensure timely delivery of all creative projects while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Stay updated with current design trends and social media content strategies.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, and CorelDRAW (preferred).
- Knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, or similar video editing software.
- Photography and videography skills with an understanding of lighting, framing, and composition.
- Strong photo editing and video editing capabilities.
- Creativity with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Multimedia, Fine Arts, or a related field.
- Freshers with a strong portfolio are encouraged to apply.
- Candidates with up to 0.6 months of relevant experience are welcome.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in photography and videography for events.
- Knowledge of social media content creation and digital marketing.
- Experience working in an educational institution is an added advantage.
