Job description:
Location : Papanchathram ,Poonamallee (Local candidates from Chennai and surrounding areas are preferred, but willing to relocate are welcome to apply)

Job Description
- Ensure implementation and maintenance of quality systems across all fabrication and welding activities.
- Possess minimum 2 years of experience in fabrication, preferably in heavy fabrication industries.
- Demonstrate strong technical knowledge in fabrication processes and welding techniques.
- Review and interpret engineering drawings using GD&T principles to ensure dimensional and functional compliance.
- Prepare, review, and approve WPS and PQR in line with applicable codes and customer requirements.
- Monitor welding activities and identify welding defects, ensuring effective corrective and preventive actions.(Must know Mig Welding)
- Oversee sheet metal bending and forming processes to ensure accuracy and quality standards are met.
- Ensure proper execution and control of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methods such as UT, RT, PT, and MT.
- Coordinate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and improve process effectiveness.
- Maintain quality documentation including inspection reports, test records, and compliance checklists.
- Ensure adherence to applicable codes, standards, and customer specifications in all fabrication works.
- Lead internal inspections and support customer, third-party, and statutory audits.
- Handle and manage quality manpower, including inspectors and technicians, ensuring skill development and discipline.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, reduce rework, and improve welding performance.
