Company Overview
Uttam Tools Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Engineer from the cutting tools or engineering manufacturing industry to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-process and final inspection of cutting tools and components.
- Ensure product quality as per customer specifications and quality standards.
- Handle measuring instruments such as Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Bore Gauge, etc.
- Maintain quality records, inspection reports, and documentation.
- Identify quality issues and coordinate with production teams for corrective actions.
- Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement activities.
- Ensure compliance with ISO and quality management procedures.
- Coordinate with production and dispatch teams for quality clearance.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of quality inspection processes in the cutting tools/manufacturing industry.
- Understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T.
- Experience in handling quality instruments and inspection reports.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and documentation.
Qualification
- Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field.
Experience
- 1 to 4 years of relevant experience in the cutting tools or engineering manufacturing industry.
Salary
- Salary as per company standards and candidate experience.
- Suitable hike will be provided on current salary for deserving candidates.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Candidate should have experience in cutting tools, tooling, carbide tools, CNC tools, or precision engineering manufacturing industry.
- Immediate joiners will be preferred.
