Job Summary:
We are looking for a responsible and customer-friendly Takeaway Assistant to manage takeaway orders and ensure smooth order handling. The ideal candidate must be quick, organized, and have strong communication skills to maintain efficient service during busy hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers politely and take takeaway orders accurately.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders.
- Pack food items neatly and ensure correct order delivery to customers.
- Verify order details before handing over to customers or delivery partners.
- Manage takeaway billing and cash/card payments.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the takeaway counter.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, or special requests politely.
- Update daily order records and communicate delays or issues to the team.
- Ensure proper hygiene and safety standards are followed.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in takeaway/service counter roles preferred .
- Good communication and customer handling skills.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments.
- Strong attention to detail and teamwork ability.
- Flexible to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays.
