Job Summary
The HR Associate will support day-to-day HR operations by assisting in recruitment, onboarding, employee data management, and engagement activities. This role is execution-focused and involves close coordination with internal teams to ensure smooth HR processes and compliance with company policies.
Key Responsibilities1. Recruitment & Hiring Support
- Assist in managing open positions and job postings across platforms
- Screen resumes and shortlist candidates based on job requirements
- Schedule interviews and coordinate with candidates and hiring managers
- Maintain recruitment trackers and hiring updates
- Support documentation for selected candidates
2. Onboarding & Documentation
- Coordinate joining formalities and onboarding processes
- Collect and verify employee documents (ID, bank details, etc.)
- Maintain employee records and update HR systems
- Assist in employee induction and policy briefing
3. HR Operations & Records Management
- Maintain and update employee database (joining, exit, transfers)
- Support attendance and leave tracking
- Provide inputs for payroll processing
- Ensure proper documentation (digital and physical records)
4. Attendance & HRMS Coordination
- Monitor daily attendance and follow up on discrepancies
- Track leave applications and maintain accurate records
- Generate reports for internal review
5. Employee Engagement & Support
- Act as a point of contact for basic HR queries
- Assist in organizing employee engagement activities
- Support internal communication and announcements
6. Exit Process Support
- Assist in resignation and exit formalities
- Track notice periods and documentation
- Support clearance and final settlement coordination
7. Compliance & Administrative Support
- Maintain HR compliance records as required
- Assist with documentation related to statutory requirements
- Coordinate with vendors or external partners when needed
8. Reporting & MIS
- Maintain HR reports (hiring status, headcount, etc.)
- Support preparation of weekly/monthly HR reports
Required Skills & Competencies
- Basic understanding of HR processes
- Strong organizational and coordination skills
- Good communication (written and verbal)
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Working knowledge of MS Excel and HR tools is an advantage
Qualifications & Experience
- Graduate (MBA in HR preferred)
- 1–2 years of experience in HR or administrative roles
