Legal Executive – Contracts & Compliance Experience: Fresher to 1 Year
Role Summary
TECH EHS is seeking a detail-oriented Legal Executive to support the review, assessment, and assisting negotiation of commercial contracts received from clients, primarily large enterprises and multinational organizations. The role involves identifying contractual risks, protecting company interests, and ensuring agreements align with applicable Indian laws and internationally accepted contracting practices.
Key Responsibilities
· Review client contracts, master service agreements, NDAs, purchase orders, and other commercial documents.
· Identify and highlight contractual risks related to (but NOT limited to below only):
- Limitation of liability
- Indemnity obligations
- Insurance requirements
- Intellectual Property ownership and licensing
- Confidentiality and data protection provisions
- Payment and termination clauses
- Warranties and service commitments
- Governing law, jurisdiction, and arbitration provisions
· Prepare risk summaries and recommend revisions to safeguard TECH EHS's interests.
· Coordinate with management, project teams, and external legal counsel when required.
· Maintain contract repositories, templates, and legal trackers.
· Monitor changes in applicable laws and support basic corporate compliance activities.
Desired Profile
· LL.B. (completed or recently qualified) from a recognized university.
· Fresher or up to 1 year of experience in corporate, commercial, or contract law.
· Good understanding of Indian contract laws, intellectual property concepts, and dispute resolution mechanisms.
· Exposure to international contracting concepts, including arbitration and cross-border commercial agreements, will be an advantage.
· Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in legal drafting and document review.
· Ability to communicate contractual risks clearly to non-legal stakeholders.
