Key ResponsibilitiesAdmission Management
- Handle all admission enquiries received through walk-ins, phone calls, emails, WhatsApp, website, social media, and referral channels.
- Counsel prospective parents regarding the school's curriculum, teaching methodology, facilities, fee structure, transport, and extracurricular programmes.
- Understand parents' expectations and recommend suitable academic programmes.
- Conduct professional campus tours for prospective families.
- Guide parents through every stage of the admission process until enrolment.
- Coordinate admission assessments and interaction sessions with academic staff.
- Maintain complete confidentiality of applicant information.
Lead Management
- Maintain an updated enquiry database using CRM/ERP software.
- Classify leads according to admission probability.
- Perform regular follow-ups through calls, emails, and WhatsApp.
- Ensure no enquiry remains unattended.
- Convert enquiries into admissions while maintaining a high parent satisfaction rate.
- Track enquiry sources and evaluate conversion effectiveness.
Documentation
- Collect and verify all admission documents.
- Ensure complete student records before confirmation of admission.
- Prepare admission files and maintain digital documentation.
- Coordinate fee payment processes with the Accounts Department.
- Generate admission reports and maintain accurate records.
Parent Relationship Management
- Build long-term relationships with prospective and existing parents.
- Address parent queries promptly and professionally.
- Coordinate orientation programmes for newly admitted families.
- Ensure smooth onboarding of new students.
Marketing & Outreach
- Represent the school during educational fairs, community events, exhibitions, and promotional campaigns.
- Coordinate with the marketing team for admission drives.
- Support open houses, parent orientation programmes, and school events.
- Develop referral networks with parents, preschools, and community organisations.
- Promote the school's achievements, curriculum, and unique selling propositions.
Reporting
- Prepare daily enquiry reports.
- Submit weekly admission conversion reports.
- Track monthly admission targets.
- Present lead analysis and conversion data to the Principal/Management.
- Maintain dashboards for enquiry status and admission forecasts.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Monthly admission target achievement.
- Enquiry-to-admission conversion rate.
- Parent satisfaction score.

- Accuracy of admission documentation.

QualificationsEssential
- Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and Google Workspace.
- Ability to work on CRM/ERP software.
Preferred
- MBA or Postgraduate qualification.
- 2–5 years of experience in school admissions, educational counselling, sales, customer relationship management, or business development.
- Experience in Cambridge, CBSE, IB, or international schools preferred.

The Admission Counsellor is expected to:
