Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with a strong focus on mobile applications to design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks for iOS and Android platforms. The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer who is passionate about quality, deeply understands mobile technologies, and partners closely with product and engineering teams to deliver high-quality mobile experiences.
Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for iOS and Android applications

Create robust UI, integration, regression, and end-to-end automated tests for mobile apps

Write high-quality automation code using Swift/SwiftUI (iOS) and Kotlin/Compose (Android) or cross-platform frameworks

Implement mobile automation using tools such as Appium, Playwright, or similar frameworks
-
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, enabling fast and reliable feedback

Collaborate closely with mobile developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to define test strategies and quality standards

Participate in code reviews for test automation and, when applicable, application code

Perform root-cause analysis for defects and work with engineering teams to drive resolution

Validate performance, stability, usability, and accessibility of mobile applications

Ensure test coverage across different device types, OS versions, and form factors

Mentor junior SDETs and promote quality best practices across teams

Requirements:

5–8 years of experience in software testing and test automation, with a strong focus on mobile applications

Hands-on experience testing native iOS and Android apps

Strong programming skills in one or more of the following:

Swift / SwiftUI

Kotlin / Jetpack Compose

Experience with mobile automation tools such as:

Appium
-
Playwright
-
Or similar mobile/web automation frameworks

Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and test automation integration (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Bitrise, CircleCI)

Strong knowledge of software testing principles, test design, and QA methodologies

Experience with version control systems such as Git

Ability to debug complex issues across mobile, backend, and test infrastructure layers
Preferences:

Experience with device farms (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, Firebase Test Lab)
