Job Description Network Administrator L3
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Level 3 (L3) Network Engineer responsible for the design, implementation, and support of enterprise LAN, WAN, and Data Center networks. This role serves as the final technical escalation point, owning complex incident resolution, root cause analysis (RCA), network architecture, performance optimization, and security initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
· Design, implement, and support LAN, WAN, and Data Center network infrastructure
· Act as L3 escalation point for complex network issues and lead root cause analysis (RCA)
· Manage routing and switching technologies including BGP, OSPF, VLANs, STP, and VXLAN
· Support firewalls, VPNs, SD-WAN solutions, and network security controls
· Lead network upgrades, migrations, hardware refreshes, and performance optimization
· Ensure high availability, redundancy, and scalability of network services
· Maintain accurate network diagrams, standards, SOPs, and documentation
· Mentor L1/L2 engineers and provide technical leadership.
Required Skills:
· Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, and advanced network troubleshooting
· Hands-on experience with routing & switching (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, STP, HSRP/VRRP)
· Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco FTD
· Experience with firewalls, site-to-site VPNs, remote access VPNs, and SD-WAN
· Experience using network monitoring and troubleshooting tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, Zabbix, Wireshark)
· Understanding of network security principles and segmentation.
Qualifications:
· 7+ years of experience in enterprise networking environments
· Proven L3 escalation and incident ownership experience
· Experience supporting campus, data center, and WAN networks
· Strong documentation and communication skills
· Experience working in enterprise or MSP environments
Pay: ₹2,050,000.00 - ₹2,500,000.00 per year
