Job Summary
We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer with 2–5 years of experience in a manufacturing plant, preferably in the AAC Block / construction material industry. The candidate will be responsible for plant machinery maintenance, breakdown handling, preventive maintenance, and ensuring smooth operation of mechanical equipment.
Key Responsibilities
Handle preventive and breakdown maintenance of plant machinery.
Monitor mechanical equipment used in AAC Block manufacturing.
Ensure smooth operation of production machinery and utility equipment.
Troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns and minimize machine downtime.
Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules.
Maintain equipment such as mixers, conveyors, pumps, compressors, cutting machines, autoclaves and related mechanical systems.
Coordinate with production and maintenance teams for machine availability.
Maintain maintenance records, checklists, and spare-parts requirements.
Identify recurring mechanical issues and implement corrective actions.
Supervise maintenance activities carried out by technicians and contractors.
Ensure proper lubrication, alignment, inspection, and servicing of equipment.
Follow plant safety procedures and maintenance standards.
Required Skills
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
2–5 years of experience in manufacturing/industrial maintenance.
Experience in AAC Block, construction material, cement, concrete, or similar manufacturing plants will be preferred.
Strong knowledge of mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting.
Knowledge of pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, bearings, compressors, motors and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
Good understanding of preventive and breakdown maintenance.
Ability to manage maintenance activities under production pressure.
Good problem-solving and team coordination skills.
Candidate Profile
Candidates having experience in AAC Block manufacturing plants or similar construction-material manufacturing industries will be highly preferred.
