Role Overview
We are looking for a highly technical, client-facing professional who can serve as the bridge between our customers, leadership team, and engineering.
This role is much more than pre-sales or solution architecture. You will represent the company in technical discussions, communicate with enterprise clients, handle critical customer conversations, prepare technical proposals, respond to RFPs, and ensure customer expectations are managed professionally without overcommitting. You will work directly with the Founder and VP of Engineering and become one of the primary technical representatives of the organization. Key Responsibilities
Client Engagement
- Represent the company during enterprise customer meetings.
- Lead technical discovery sessions and solution discussions.
- Understand customer pain points and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Build long-term relationships with enterprise customers.
- Handle technical escalations with professionalism and confidence.
- Act as the technical spokesperson for the organization whenever required.
Solution Consulting
- Understand customer infrastructure and security requirements.
- Design high-level technical solutions.
- Explain complex technical concepts in a simple and business-friendly manner.
- Collaborate with Engineering to validate solution feasibility.
- Assist customers during solution evaluation and implementation planning.
Technical Documentation
- Own and prepare documentation including:
- RFP Responses
- RFI Responses
- RFQ Responses
- Technical Proposals
- Solution Architecture Documents
- Scope of Work (SOW)
- High-Level Design (HLD)
- Technical Presentations
- Commercial Technical Documents
- Customer Requirement Documents
- Ensure documentation is technically accurate while being commercially appropriate.
Strategic Communication
- Communicate clearly without creating unnecessary technical or commercial commitments.
- Frame responses professionally while protecting company interests.
- Review customer communications before submission when required.
- Support leadership in handling sensitive customer conversations.
- Translate business requirements into engineering-ready documentation.
Internal Collaboration
- Work closely with the Founder on strategic customer engagements.
- Partner with the VP of Engineering on technical planning.
- Coordinate with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Sales.
- Ensure customer expectations align with actual product capabilities and roadmap.
Required Technical Skills
Technical
