Job Title: Middle School Mathematics Teacher (Grades 6–8)
Job Summary: We are seeking an analytical, engaging, and dedicated Middle School Maths Teacher to join our faculty. The ideal candidate will be responsible for guiding students through critical transitional math concepts, including algebra, geometry, integers, data handling, and ratios. You will focus on dispelling "math anxiety" by creating a logical, supportive, and highly interactive learning environment that emphasizes practical problem-solving and analytical reasoning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Curriculum Execution: Plan, prepare, and deliver structured math lessons aligned with SSC board standards.
- Concept Simplification: Break down complex abstract topics—like algebraic equations, geometric theorems, and fractions—into digestible steps.
- Practical Application: Integrate mathematical manipulatives, digital tools, real-world examples, and word problems to demonstrate the utility of maths.
- Assessment & Evaluation: Design and grade regular quizzes, chapter tests, mental math drills, and term examinations to map conceptual understanding.
- Differentiated Instruction: Identify struggling students and provide targeted remedial support while offering extension tasks to advanced learners.
- Classroom Leadership: Maintain an organized, respectful, and disciplined classroom environment conducive to focus and critical thinking.
- Stakeholder Communication: Maintain transparent records of student progress and collaborate closely with parents during scheduled meetings.
Required Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) or Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or a related STEM discipline.
- Professional Certification: A mandatory B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) from a recognized institution.
- Eligibility Test: Clearance of CTET (Paper II) or relevant State TET is highly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 2 to 4 years of proven experience teaching mathematics to middle school or secondary classes.
