- Perform welding on hull structures, machinery foundations, piping systems, and related marine components.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, welding symbols, and fabrication sketches.
- Carry out welding using approved processes such as SMAW, FCAW, GTAW (TIG), GMAW (MIG), and SAW as required.
- Prepare materials, fit joints, and ensure proper alignment before welding.
- Conduct root pass, fill pass, and cap pass welding in accordance with project specifications.
- Repair defects identified during inspection and perform grinding and finishing work as required.
- Ensure weld quality meets applicable codes, standards, and client requirements.
- Operate welding equipment safely and maintain tools in good working condition.
- Follow safety procedures, permit-to-work requirements, and PPE regulations.
- Assist with hydrostatic testing, pressure testing, and commissioning activities when required.
- Maintain housekeeping standards in the work area.
Pay: ₹15,602.98 - ₹45,692.52 per month
