Role Summary
We are looking for a Business Analyst to support the DCX AI journey by translating business problems into clear, actionable AI use cases, requirements, value cases and implementation-ready specifications. The ideal candidate is a business-first, AI-curious analyst who can operate between strategy and execution. The person should be comfortable working with ambiguity, asking sharp questions, structuring unclear business problems, and converting ideas into actionable AI use cases.
The role will work closely with domain owners, digital product teams, AI Hub / architecture teams, low-code makers, data teams, Enterprise IT, security/privacy stakeholders, and the DCX AI Office to identify, shape, prioritize and govern AI initiatives across customer-facing digital capabilities.
This role is not a traditional requirements-only BA role. The person must be able to identify new AI trends related to Customer Experience, connect business value, process understanding, data readiness, AI feasibility, responsible AI, governance, adoption and ROI into one structured delivery approach.
Context of the Role
DCX is accelerating its transition toward an AI-enabled and Agentic AI-driven customer experience organization. The DCX AI strategy focuses on building a unified AI strategy, developing an AI use-case portfolio, governing a centralized agent registry, and accelerating Agentic AI deployment across customer-facing capabilities.
This BA role will help operationalize the AI economics model by ensuring AI use cases are well-defined, value-backed, measurable, governed and ready for execution and track the Cost effectiveness,
Key Responsibilities
1. AI Use Case Discovery & Intake
- Partner with DCX domains, product owners, business stakeholders and AI Office leads to identify AI, Agentic AI and automation opportunities.
- Capture business problems, current pain points, user journeys, operational inefficiencies and customer impact.
- Structure AI use cases into a standard intake format covering problem statement, business owner, expected value, target users, process scope, data sources, dependencies and success criteria.
- Support the centralized AI use-case and agent registry for DCX.
- Help assess whether a use case is suitable for off-the-shelf AI, low-code agent, Copilot Studio, AI Hub / pro-code solution, vendor AI capability or process redesign.
2. Requirements & Process Analysis
- Translate business goals into actionable AI requirements, user stories, process flows and functional specifications.
- Document current-state and future-state process flows for AI-enabled workflows.
- Identify manual handoffs, repetitive decisions, knowledge bottlenecks, data gaps and automation candidates.
- Define human-in-the-loop requirements, approval points, exception handling and fallback processes.
- Work with AI architects and technical teams to convert business needs into AI-ready solution requirements.
The need for this type of BA capability is aligned with the broader AI project role view where business analysts translate business goals into actionable plans.
3. AI Value, KPI & Business Case Support
- Define expected value for each AI use case across adoption, productivity, business value, customer experience, risk and ROI.
- Build initial business cases including expected time savings, cost avoidance, revenue uplift, case deflection, NSS impact or process acceleration where applicable.
- Support the AI Value Scorecard for each use case.
- Track KPI baselines, targets and realized outcomes after pilot or production launch.
- Work with Finance / AI Economics stakeholders to support cost/benefit tracking, forecast vs actual analysis, cost per interaction, cost per outcome and ROI.
4. AI Governance & Lifecycle Support
- Ensure each AI use case follows the agreed lifecycle from idea, discovery, POC, pilot, scale and operations.
- Support governance gates by validating that required information is complete before moving to the next stage.
- Maintain documentation for ownership, budget owner, data sources, risk classification, security/privacy status, responsible AI status and operational readiness.
- Help prepare decision packs for DCX AIX Office, DCR AI Ops, CXCT Transformation and leadership reviews.
- Support governance rhythm and portfolio reporting.
5. Responsible AI & Risk Awareness
- Support Responsible AI assessment for AI use cases, especially around privacy, security, safety, reliability and accountability.
- Identify risks related to data usage, customer impact, automation decisions, agent autonomy, hallucination, bias, security and process control.
- Work with Security / Privacy / Responsible AI stakeholders to ensure the required checks are completed.
- Ensure AI use cases have clear human accountability and escalation paths.
6. Stakeholder & Change Enablement
- Act as a bridge between business teams, digital teams, AI Hub, Enterprise IT, security/privacy, finance and delivery teams.
- Facilitate workshops to define AI opportunities, requirements, process redesign and value hypotheses.
- Help business users understand how AI can improve workflows and customer experience.
- Support adoption planning, user readiness, training inputs and feedback collection.
- Capture lessons learned and help convert pilots into reusable patterns.

Required Experience
- Overall 10+ yrs of experience out of which 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, Digital Analyst, Functional Consultant or similar role.
- Strong experience in business process analysis, requirements gathering and stakeholder management.
- Experience working with digital products, customer experience platforms, enterprise applications, workflow tools or data/analytics platforms.
- Ability to translate business problems into structured requirements and measurable outcomes.
- Understanding of AI, Generative AI, Agentic AI, automation, analytics or emerging digital technologies.
- Experience working with agile teams, product owners, architects, developers and business stakeholders.
- Experience preparing business cases, KPI frameworks, process documentation and executive summaries.
Preferred Experience
- Exposure to Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, Power Platform, Salesforce, Tableau, Informatica, MuleSoft, ServiceNow, Jira, Confluence or similar enterprise platforms.
- Experience with customer experience, digital commerce, customer support, search, analytics, personalization or digital journey transformation.
- Experience with AI use-case discovery, AI adoption, AI governance or AI value tracking.
- Familiarity with Responsible AI, privacy/security reviews, data governance or risk management.
- Experience working in a global/matrixed organization.
- Experience supporting transformation or change management programs.
